Red Carpet Jewels: 2015 Academy Awards

When the red carpet rolled out for the Academy Awards Sunday night, fantastic statement pieces were the jewelry hits of the night. Here's a look at the big, bold, beautiful looks!

Let's start with earrings. Marion Cotillard's Chopard earrings were beautiful circles of diamonds.

Best Actress Winner, Julianne Moore also chose diamonds - in a spiraling circle.

Diamond ear cuffs made an appearance. Chloe Grace Moretz looked dazzling in these sparkling cuffs!

Naomi Watts wore stunning diamond and sapphire drops for a pop of color.

Gwenneth Paltrow chose colorful drops, too - in pink to accent her gown.

Necklaces made big statements, too! Cate Blanchett paired a stunning Tiffany & Co. bib necklace featuring turquoise, aquamarine and diamonds with a "little black dress'".

Margot Robbie's $1.5 million tassel necklace was inspired by a design commissioned by the Duchess of Windsor in the 1930's. The necklace, which has over 150 diamonds and over 300 sapphires, features a fully functioning zipper!

It looked like Scarlett Johansson was wearing a statement beaded choker but the intricate beading was part of her Versace dress! She topped off the dazzling gown with earrings featuring five pear-shaped emeralds weighing about 3.73 carats, 278 brilliant-cut diamonds weighing about 3.62 carats, four pear-shaped aquamarines weighing 2.5 carats, and two pear-shaped green tourmalines weighing 1.85 carats!
